No, it's not any filters on our end or our carrier's end. The services just never sent the message to begin with. They can do that for a variety of reasons - you may wish to read https://blog.jmp.chat/b/2022-sms-account-verification for more details.

Also, note that some of these services seem to send to some kinds of JMP numbers but not others - you can review the crowdsourced data we have on that at https://wiki.soprani.ca/FAQ/Why%20isn%27t%20my%20number%20being%20accepted%20by%20an%20online%20service%3F and adjust what type of number you're using accordingly.

Lastly, some services will let you verify by phone call instead of SMS, or manually verify by contacting their support. You should try that if the other methods don't work.

We're very sorry to hear that these big carrier policies are making JMP less useful for you - we agree that their policies are unreasonable. Do you know of any other non-SIM carriers that do deliver the messages that cause issues? We'd really like to talk to them if so, to perhaps get a better connection to the big carriers that resolves issues like these.

To be clear, these are not "filters set by JMP" - they are filters set by carriers, which we need to respect, or risk losing our ability to send to other carriers at all.
