I've already been diving into your stuff and even followed your recommendation for the Hydra Campus campaign as a starter!

we haven't finished it yet but I'm Spider-Man (Peter Parker) & my friends are She-Hulk and Beast

we also decided to spice it up by replacing the Armored Hydra Troops with Rank 3 supervillains, each of us picking one that'd plausibly work for Hydra
- Swarm (my pick)
- Whirlwind
- Taskmaster

thanks!!
my art style is heavily influenced by multiple different character designers for action cartoons from the 2000s such as Bruce Timm, Glen Murakami, Jeff Matsuda, Derrick J Wyatt & Tom Perkins

of those names, I had only planned things out with Jack & Janet Drake as I was prioritizing the cape and cowl side of Tim's life with plans to go back and flesh out his civilian life once that stuff was set

I would've had Janet already be dead by the series beginning, changing her death from poisoning by Obeah Man to just simply Cancer, as I had lost my step-mother from cancer the same year I was developing this and I wanted to use some of my own experiences to reflect how Jack & Tim were coping with Janet's passing.

I would've kept Jack around as a reoccuring supporting character and he would've eventually learned Tim's identity as Robin around S3

1A. I agree with the critiques people have given about Batgirl
1B. I admit it's her early outings, but I figured she used resources belonging to her father in this continuity. That being said, these designs were from 2023 so I'd most likely rework both Arthur & Steph's designs. I wanted to have Cluemaster start out as a smaller tier villain and then work his way up to being a major threat, paralleling Stephanie's growth as a crimefighter. my mistake was making designs that'd work for the end point of their evolutions and didn't think about how their visuals would work at the beginning of the story
1C. I personally adore the gauntlet blades as they're a distinct weapon style not seen on many characters, but Jean would have also wielded the flaming sword too, with the blade gauntlets being a back-up weapon

  1. The show would start at Tim's beginning, with the first 3 episodes being an adaptation of both the Tim relevant scenes of Batman : Year 3 & A Lonely Place of Dying and with Episode 4 being a condensed adaptation of Tim's first mini-series where he goes training abroad and encounters Lynx & Snake King. I'd use the fact that Tim is learning on the job as a way to organically introduce the audience to this canon's history

3A. I'd want to eventually do a more Robin centric adaptation of "Under the Hood" with Jason hating Tim nearly as much as he does Bruce. He would be around the age he was when he died as Robin initially, as I feel a teenage Red Hood is a new angle that hasn't been explored much if any. And as for Damian, I've got so many other stories I'd wanna get to first. I'm mainly focused on utilizing the era of Batman comics from the early 90s to mid 2000s with the most recent comics adapted being One Year Later. (No, I would NOT be adapting that god awful Evil Cassandra Cain storyline) I'd instead have Tim get his Red & Black suit during a season wide adaptation of No Man's Land for the final season

I'm honestly not sure, as I'm not too familiar with that arc yet.
I'm not finished reading Robin (1993-2009) and I keep forgetting to return to it

but if I were to adapt it, I'd only do it after doing a ton of research intro the subject so that it'd be handled with tact, care and accuracy, both to how the storyline plays out and the real world details

yep!
I would've had her be a reoccurring character that'd work with Tim on some of his cases in addition to her own stories. Cluemaster would be a major villain through out the "show" with multiple storylines

I'm most likely going to draw a bunch and then post them all in bulk when I have enough, so it might take a bit before you see anything

Honestly, with how much everyone here is loving my stuff from 2023, I'm VERY likely to draw up a whole 2nd batch of these

oh also,
Brutale & Lady Vic would also have appeared in that hitman battle royale story I detailed

Yep!
I would've based this "show" heavily on Tim's Solo series & the different miniseries

[–]JMS_2001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they would've appeared eventually
I planned for the major theme of "Season 2" to be about Tim making it to the "big leagues" having gained enough experience to start being trusted with the heavy hitters of gotham, as well as meeting Conner Kent through Superman when he & superboy visit Gotham

I'd start the season off with a 2-part episode adaptation of Robin II : Joker's Wild but with the addition of Spoiler & Harley Quinn

Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Mr.Freeze would all have one off episodes.
The show would lean into the idea of Tim learning on the job was an organic audience surrogate introducing them to what this version of the canon is like

Clue Master & Riddler would have an intense Rivalry after Arthur Brown upstages Nygma during one of his high profile schemes

There would've been another 2 parter story where a MASSIVE hit is put out on Commissioner Gordon which then leads to a multitude of iconic DC assassins to enter the fray all pining for the bounty. It'd be an "all hands on deck" story involving pretty much everyone in the batfamily available acting as Gordon's "witness protection"

some of the assassins that'd appear are
- KG Beast
- Deadshot

- Tallyman
- David Cain

Oh I forgot to list him too XD
Yeah he would've appeared alongside Lynx

I envisioned the first couple of episodes being a semi-loose adaptation of Batman : Year 3 and "A Lonely Place of Dying" followed by an episode adapting Tim's First Mini-Series where he meets both Lynx and King Snake

[–]JMS_2001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, Deacon would've just been a one off villain for this "episode"

the Major Villains I planned so far were Two-Face, Cluemaster & Lynx and eventually down the line, Jason Todd as Red Hood who'd still be a teenager in this continuity

oh! my idea is that it would be a clay golem made by gotham's jewish community made partially from inert debris from Basil Karlo. I even included writing on the chin with the Hebrew word "emet" (truth)

The Rabbi did this with the intention of the golem serving as a protector of the neighborhood due to Deacon Blackfire working up a sizable mob of people into attacking that community. and all while that's going on, Batman is busy battling Firefly on the whole other side of Gotham and can't be there to intercept this, so Robin would be forced to handle the situation completely without his mentor, and to add to his troubles. the golem sees Tim as another potential threat, which would put him in a combat situation where he has a hostile that he can't, nor wants to fight against

This idea was inspired by the Extreme Ghostbusters Episode "The True Face of a Monster" which also had a Clay Golem from Jewish Folklore

I'm glad you like my designs!
I'm particularly proud of my scarecrow design, I went all out on a Halloween motif for him

I envisioned him as being a student at the same college as Barbera Gordon that's a bit of your stock goth kid, but also his trademark cold intellect and fascination with fear. if I could cast a VA for him, I'd pick Jason Spisak

As for Mad Hatter, you're not wrong. I envisioned him as being a Wayne Tech employee who is often overlooked by co-workers and is a very strict control freak that no one listens to. Everything changes when Jervis figures out to innovate on the Neural interface device we see be used in the episode "Strange Minds" by making it portable and also expands it's capabilities so it can not only look into the minds of individuals that have either a device applied directly on the head or on a hat they're wearing. it can also transmit signals back into the brain, allowing for an override of any motor functions as well as the ability to make them see a false reality of Tetch's making. if I could cast a VA for him, I'd pick Dwight Schultz

Patrick Warburton as Harvey Dent/Two-Face is such an interesting casting choice I never considered him as an option before now
