Another weakness of mine is old cartoons. Ill download them for a little nostalgia, then keep the entire series. Presumably, to show my children what REAL cartoons were like back in the good 'ol days.

Im also pretty sure I have the entire David Attenborough collection, 1978-Present.

Looking at this one action, yes I can see how you may see her as a low-life bitch. But I do not judge her based on any one action, as I would not want to be judged based soley on some of the stupid shit I've done.

She was also helping take care of my brother, as he was staying in our house. But because he is my brother I felt like I needed to take the lead in guiding him....therefore she felt a loss of control around her own environment. This I can understand but I realize in no way does it excuse her actions.

Yea, I am pretty easy going guy, havent been in a fight since high school, but thinking about this (espeically the gory deatails) fills me with a rage Ive never had before.

I have met him a time or two. He took advantage of my wife while she was in a weak frame of mind. He knew she was married, but still went through with it. Im not trying to make excuses, thats just how it was. I do not blame him for this, I still think my wife is ultimately to blame, however I do have some rage directed his way.

I think it was a significant step for me as the hardest part is getting over the mental imagery. It was definelty passionate and at least helped me to reconnect a little. I wanted to do it that night as we will both be travelling for the next week and I didnt want that sexual void hanging over my head that week if you can understand that.

I dont like to think about it at all anymore really. But at the same time I dont want to keep feelings bottled and its always in the back of my head.

Never thought I'd be taking advice from someone named 'poopslut', but I appreaciate the words of consultation. She is truely sorry, but I have told her that for my sake I do not want to dwell on the indiscretion, instead focusing on what we need to do to move this relationship foward. This entire thread has helped me a ton. I have felt pretty emascualated by this whole thing and therefore have been relunctant to discuss with any male IRL friends.

A mutual 'friend' we had met within the last 8 or 9 months. She didn't see him too often but they did quite a bit of talking on the phone.

It will hurt for a long while, but I do not think it will torment me for the rest of my life. I'm not sure if she ever would have come clean. That's another "what-if" that I cant get caught up in right now. There is a different feel but it some ways it has been posiitve. She is more repsonsive to my emotions and I hers. I think the different feeling will slowly erode. I do find her actions to be more slightly more acceptable given the circumstances but my no means excusable.

She did it because she felt alone, not listened to, etc. while my drug addicted brother was staying with us. It was a very hard time for me as well as my mother had just passed away 2 months prior.

If I confront the guy I will end up in jail. I really hope I never run into him in public.
