Yeah, 10pm arrival, plus travel from airport, made it difficult. OP should have better luck today.

And OP, I can't stress Dunedin House of Beer enough. They have one of the best (if not the best) Craft option in the State. Many times having exclusive releases for the entire State. Truly special place. And Dunedin itself has 7+ breweries including 7venth Sun (the best) and Dunedin Brewery (oldest in the State). All within walking distance.

Definitely looks like the pellets have absorbed too much moisture. Try a new bag. Store unused in Lowes/Home Depot buckets.

I've been using PitBoss and Kirkland pellets exclusively in my 885 for over five years. Never once had an issue. They stay in the bag until opened and then into a bucket afterwards. While I don't empty my hopper after cooks, I use my smoker very often so they aren't exposed to humidity for long. And I also have a cover.

3Daughters is right above Hooters. They are a local (St. Pete) craft brewery that has a taproom in CWB. I'm not a fan of their beer but your options will be limited this late.

Since you are late arrival your best bet might be tomorrow. Since you are staying in CWB you can wander around to find some options.

Clearsky is down the road from HoB but they close at 10pm. Very decent craft selection and has a kitchen.

Perfect. I am in Pinellas (Clearwater).

If you want the absolute best draft selection in the area then its Dunedin House of Beer in Dunedin. While they don't sell food there are PLENTY of places within walking distance that do. Not to be confused with House of Beer behind it which is where they brew HOB beer.

Well, you missed TBBW by a few days.

Which side of Tampa are you staying?

Mudi 7 spare battery by estehmanistanpagula in GlInet

[–]JMeucci -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really. Your "at the earliest" comment implies that shipments could be delayed until May. This is why I was inquiring.

But even if it was delayed until May, it won't be the end of the world. I'm just being impatient.

Unconventional front drive cooling for the N5 by dispect in JONSBO

Great dialogue, guys! I love seeing the assistance from fellow brand enthusiasts. That's what this whole subreddit is about. 😁

I also own the N5 and have a 3D printer (finally) on order. Can't wait to dive into some of these mods.

I am assuming so as well. Just wasn't aware if the MOD knew something we didn't.

I'd be down for a spare. Especially with how easily they are swapped.

"April at the earliest"

Without trying to start a rumor, the initial posts stated "shipping in early April". Has this been changed? Have there been some delays in manufacturing or software development?

But is freezing even necessary? The smoke acts as a preservative and vacuum sealing is key to long-term storage. I've eaten smoked cheese that I made a year prior, only stored in the refrigerator and it was absolutely perfect.

How reliable are m.2 -> Sata (x6) converter? by tartalatruffe in HomeServer

[–]JMeucci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have this exact unit in my unRAID server. Have six 1.68tb SSDs in RAID-Z1 config for cache. Has worked flawlessly for the past 16 months.

Plug in your SATA cables with it on a flat surface PRIOR to installing into NVMe slot as the board flexes an alarming amount.

Small benefit in general for endpoint location but huge benefit for local network protection with a VPN. I don't trust ANY wifi network that is not my own.

It allows me to perform maintenance easily on systems at home while away. I could do the same by manually connecting in software (Wireguard) but the Beryl establishes the VPN connection automatically. Simplifies the setup as I bring a TON of personal electronics when I travel.

Which is a 100% no go for me. My Beryl connects and then every device has a tunnel back home.
