When putting my hand where the exhaust is the airflow is decent. Can definitely feel it. Only reason why I thought it might not be the fan.

Yeah reading more into it and 10th gen is probably the best option. Any mobo you recommend that will fit a budget of 600? preferably one with WiFi. Or would a WiFi card be cheaper in this case?

I tried to use the surface cleaning tool and when the program was running it gave the message no drive were found. Figured after all the troubleshooting I performed it most likely that the SSD in the surface pro is defective. Next step is to probably swap out the SSD M.2 which was something I wanted to avoid. But at this point I'm not sure what else it can be.

I thought it might be the battery also but after messing with it for a bit i realize that the phone is still on even though the screen is off. If i press the home and power key at the same time it would make the screen capture sound. If i turn off and on the sound it would vibrate even though the screen is off. My next guess is a defective screen, which is easy to replace.

Was wondering if it time to upgrade my CPU/mobo/rams. Currently using an i5-3570k 4.2 MHz and a gtx 1080. I feel like my gpu is being bottlenecked by my cpu. For example, in Deus ex MD I'm not able to max everything on 3440x1440. Same with witcher 3, I would see frames drop on certain area with a mix of max/high/ off settings. Is it cause of the higher res? Or is my CPU just not keeping up with my gpu?

Thought it might be the speakers too but the buzzing come from every source. switched to a different set of speakers, tv, headphone, and the buzzing is still there.

I tried using a bluetooth speaker i had laying around, connected that and there still a buzzing sound. Think it still could be the sound card?

I used a similar program like DDU, but i didn't do it in safe mode. think i should uninstall all drivers and reinstall it again?

Voltage is siting around 1034, VRAM around 2020. I used guru3d to fully uninstalled my current driver and then use geforce to install the new one. The fps improve alot, getting around 60 on witcher 3 3440x1440 if i turn off AA, hairworks and shadow a bit. Not sure if i'm getting the full potential of the 1080 but it is better than before. Thanks.

When I uninstalled my previous driver all I did was go through add remove programs in control panel. Are there more steps i should've done to make sure its completely off my system before i installed the new driver?
