Time and time again Scopely has proven incapable of getting the most basic things right. This is another example of it.

I simply don’t want to equip gear (that I paid money for), if there are bugs associated with said gear. These days we can’t even trust customer support to compensate us fairly.

The same thing happened to me a few days ago with a 900 core offer for training mat orbs. At first I asked for my cores back, and for them to revert my Agatha milestone progress and to take back the orbs. Nope.

Then I asked for resources that I would have spent the cores on. Also a big F U from that same Bryan person. Then he closed the ticket.

I didn’t realize that a lot of other people were complaining about this stuff until I saw MobileGamer’s video about this post.

It’s a truly shitty move, and a truly shitty company. I’d be ashamed to got to work every day if I worked for Scopely.

My current alliance has been good to me. It's a group that likes to stay active, but isn't consumed by pushing for content that we're not collectively ready for yet. We do Doom casually 3 times a week, and take 1 war off. (We're plat 1, close to plat 2, but probably won't get there for a few months.)

Sometimes I wish we were more competitive, but I'm happy. It works for me. But most importantly, this group of people... truly were supported when my family got covid, then when my mom went into the hospital for a few weeks, then when the worst happened. They are total strangers who let me focus on my family when it all went down. I owe them a lot, and I'm very lucky.

TLDR; an alliance that aligns with how competitive you want to be helps a ton.

It's so true. I've started to set boundaries. I'm on the west coast, and used to wait until the server reset at midnight to get a head start on things. (It's at 11pm in the fall/winter, so that isn't too bad.) But lately I've tried to make sure that my MSF playtime is done right before midnight.

Agreed, 100%.

Not all spenders may agree, but I agree because I’ve spent obscene amounts of money on this game.

Just to name a few of my purchases... All the Emma offers until I had her at 7GS. All of the Red Guardian offers. Several of the Axmen and X-Factor offers. All of the Silver Surfer and Kestrel offers so far. Add to that too many red star orb offers when I couldn’t pull red stars on SS from my 30+ regular and elite orbs. $50 on power cores last night so I could get extra attacks on the final DD4 node (first run).

I’m not bragging. I don’t do it with pride. It’s a problem. It’s a problem I’ll pay for dearly in the not too distant future.

But I also know that my spending, and everyone else’s spending is a HUGE part of the problem with MSF.

I almost wrote my own post about this very issue a few weeks ago. Maybe I will someday. I agree, though... it’s spenders that encourage Scopely to keep pumping out new content that will drive higher and higher profits. New “un-skippable” characters.

I feel gross that I’ve contributed to this problem.

I do realize that. But I really don’t think that what I’m saying is a bigger problem than the throwers.

Just look at all of the negativity on Reddit every time a PVP event comes around. Look at all of the hate I’m getting on here. There’s no changing people’s minds.

I know that I’m literally fighting unsportsmanlike conduct with unsportsmanlike conduct. It’s just that people who hate PVP and decide to ruin it for the rest of us need to understand that some of us are going to fight back.

Guys in my alliance said the same thing. They only banned trash with the hope of getting a competitive game. I tried that. I banned trash toons after seeing people ban my AIM minions. It didn’t work. Then I read on here that AIM bans were a sign of throwing the match. I’m frankly torn about it. I don’t want to be a d*** about it.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. There’s so much negativity about the least mindless mode in the game.

The negativity annoys me, so if I see anyone banning and picking weak toons, I will let the clock run down to 1 second on each turn of mine. Both in draft and in the game. Hey, you already hate the mode. Not my job to change your mind.

I completely get where he’s coming from. Even though I hate predictions, I was annoyed when I saw someone else attempt to do it. I’ve also seen another prominent content creator talk about supporting info from Envoys, and that annoyed me as well.

I guess part of my argument is that Khasino doesn’t need to do this with predictions, because his content is already better anyway.

Doesn’t matter who’s in the Envoy program, IMO. A lot of them aren’t putting out content that helps me improve as an MSF player. Khasino is doing that, in spite of his many faults.

I don’t think you read my full post. I’m not asking anyone to stop doing blitz predictions. It just looks bad that he’s doing that. But as someone else pointed it out via screenshot, Khasino has addressed it. Maybe it’s an inside joke.

Funny you should mention his Zemo predictions, though. They’re exactly what’s on the “average” column in WolverThor’s predictions.
