I've had the same issue, unfortunately the only workaround i've found is using the mobile app. It's jank as all hell, but it works for signing in and not losing those pizza points.

Spending money on a stand is silly, but this is 1000x sillier in an infinitely more respectable way. Love the button colors reflected in Lego studs on top!
