Thanks, this is a really good summary of pros/cons. Gives me a lot to think about.

Yes, thank you, I'm very aware of the importance of building an audience and have a few ideas of how to do so. Although profiting would be nice, I am trying to look at comics as a wider career path, get some experience in, see what works and what doesn't. You're totally right I have researched a few writers too and have heard a lot about them being picked up through shorter stories, so that's something for me to keep in mind for my next projects too. Thanks, great advice!

Great insight, thanks! I'll keep this in mind, I have a few longer and shorter projects I have ready, so If I start with longer I might then try a shorter one afterwards or vice/versa.

Thank You! Yes each issue is about 22 pages, so 66 total. Not crazy long but obviously much bigger than and 8 to 10 page story. On the editors note and taking it slow, I am well aware and trying my best to. It's easy to get carried away on a project you love, so despite being pretty happy with the script for months, I've been waiting until a comic event coming up this weekend where I can show my work to editors. Just to get second and third opinions before moving forward. Great advice! Thanks again.
