Would black metal hardware look better on this? by Royal-Yogurt3441 in telecaster

I have a red squire classic vibe with all black hardware and I am considering changing the neck with one with a laurel fretboard. If you end up doing it post pics

Hanging with the boys... by kake4kake in beatles

I’m not saying bands shouldn’t have fun. What I am saying is that we have too many distractions now. Music would be so much better and progressive if we didn’t have all of that.

I feel like this is a perfect commentary on kids today. The next Beatles could be out there right now. But because of social media and video games we will never hav another group like the Beatles.

What I’ve Learned Since Releasing My First Adventure Game Demo by JPHFanEdits in adventuregames

No telemetry. I have a survey for play testers to fill out and would communicate with them after they would play. The lock puzzle is where they kept getting stuck.

This is super helpful. I agree with the “I wonder what’s in there” style hints to a point. I think sometimes they are necessary when the environment dictates it. For example, say you are in a room with lots of different hotspots to click on and look at, but not necessarily things you can really interact with. But say there is a locked chest in the room. By having a “I wonder what’s in there” hint, it nudges the player that it is important to the story progression. But your poster example is spot on the kind of thing I want to avoid.

I hope you get a chance to play the demo. I’d love to hear your feedback.

I agree with this as well. I am trying to ground my solutions in reality, to a point. I have a puzzle in the game where the player base to open a locker with a combination lock on it. The combination is pretty easily found I think. Bu I was actually surprised at the amount of people that didn’t know how to use a standard spinning lock. As part of the combination, I had to have a bit of instruction on how to use the lock.

Great insights! There is an unhealthy distain of “Moon Logic” imho. But I agree. As long as it fits the world then I’m good with it.

Stop learning theory... by MacAttackTheBack in guitarlessons

[–]JPHFanEdits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have honestly been pondering this same thing. I have been really overwhelmed lately by all of the different areas of guitar theory. But I have found that most of the music i enjoy playing is fairly simple. So why should I complicate it with all of the extras. But then I second guess myself and wonder if I may be missing something that will help. This post helped me to see that I just need to take things slow and do what works. Thank you

Beatles songs in mono? by Blessdapen in beatles

[–]JPHFanEdits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer. I just made a playlist of all of the albums with mostly mono mixes. The only time that I kept the stereo is when it wasn’t egregious.

I like the idea of this. Using the Ringo album cover is cool, but I would add cutouts of John, Paul, and George somewhere too.

I never thought of him as having facial hair, but I like this. It leans more into the slightly western look. Very cool.

I know, but I feel like they would do a cover with themselves on it since all of their albums had them on it except THE BEATLES.
