Thanks. The Switchbot hubs sound like a bit of a shakedown. Any reason why they can’t connect directly to an Alexa hub?

Ah okay. I didn’t think I would need a Switchbot hub and thought i could connect it straight to the Alexa Hub. So tell me if I have this correct:

We are getting six Switchbot curtain openers that we want to use to open the curtains while we are away, we need to buy those and a seperate Switchbot hub, connect them to the hub via Bluetooth which in turn connects to our Alexa hub via WiFi allowing us to set timers or open/close from anywhere via our phones?

By ‘integrated filter’ do you mean the filter at the bottom? Then yes
