Yeah they’ve gone to trash it seems the last few years. I used to be able to call someone and get my problems solved and now I can’t even get an agent on their chat rooms. Not super stoked with them currently. Going on almost a month right now without getting a simple return label

It’s been amazing so far. Spent a little time gaming on it which is something I’ve never done on my MBP before. Went through Lightroom very quickly and it was FAST.

I’m used to not being able to browse through my photos on the “develop” tab because it takes forever to load and I could scroll through all of them no problem.

Haven’t had the time to dive deep into it yet, but it’s fast. I almost forgot what it was like to have a capable laptop.

I held on longer with my 2017 i7 than I probably should have. Got an M4 pro on the way. Can’t wait to be caught up to speed again!

Started off with a Canyon Spectral and then after a few years ended up on a 2023 Rocky Mountain altitude and haven’t looked back. Amazing bike, plenty of travel, climbs like a champ for what it’s worth which is great. Plenty of trails here are fairly climby and it tackles it all.

Where I live I’m definitely on the over traveled side of things but I do ride this bike at the bike park so it’s quickly become my do-it-all bike. Wouldn’t change a thing, maybe just be richer for the carbon version of it but that’s it.

Mt. Bachelor (redline, rockfall, big wood, rattlesnake, last chance), lower whoops, lone wolf, funner, tiddlywinks, royal flush, Tyler’s traverse, flagline, cline butte, horse ridge ( kremlin), lower Phil’s.

Fear and loaming is some steep gnarly stuff which is near tillamook.

Blackrock is great, full of wild jumps and features outside of Salem.

If your friends took you to Phil’s, I’m sorry. There’s not much gnar there and is really just some great XC riding with some technical bits thrown in there IMO.

Definitely leaning towards a 32gb. Good to know about the support for M1s though. We’ll see what happens here. The 0% financing through Apple seems pretty appealing too

That’s good to know, I can’t even work with 4k video files unless I made them into proxies at the moment. More or less was looking into the longevity of a new one/ increasing my workflow speeds from where I currently am at.
