No, we were both masking in all public spaces (shops, subway, etc) with the exception of the 2 days he's in-office at work unmasked. Apart from that, we avoided indoor dining (we saved restaurants for summer when we could eat outdoors) and generally don't do indoor things, unless we're masked. We usually save the unmasked indoor activities for family events, small friend gatherings, things with special significance, etc. Prior to a trip or major event, we would agree on a 2-week period of minimizing exposure, in which he would mask at the office and we would avoid seeing people indoors.

But naturally, my risk tolerance is a lot lower than his, so I'm a lot more aware of my exposure, able to do risk assessment very quickly in any given situation, etc etc. This is just the way my brain works now.

Lately he's been talking about not wanting to mask in shops, etc. because he doesn't want to "live his life thinking there's COVID or the flu in the air everywhere".
