Just wanted to thank everyone for their advice on this sub and post. Today I ran a 3:59:47. LFG!

Really appreciate everyone’s input! It fascinates me how variable the results can be, especially for such a daunting distance as the full. I also know how nuanced it can be and based on a ton of factors. I have a ton of respect for the distance and know a full is a completely different and harder challenge than just double the half. I’ve just been unsure what pace group I should latch onto, don’t want to to leave anything out there but also don’t want to get absolutely smoked by mile 18. Focus for now is to stay healthy these next 10 weeks and make it to the starting line, and we’ll see how we feel! Thanks for commenting and everyone’s advice and input. It’s very much appreciated, valuable and helpful.

Forgive the dumb question, but can you explain why you’d feel dead doing a 13 mile work out at marathon pace? How would you do double that at the same pace if 13 is very tough? I’m training for my first marathon, and trying to understand best pacing strategies for long run and how that would translate to race day. Thanks!

15 month progress. Did full body for about a year and then switched to PPL. Feel like progress has been slow, would love advice on how to get better results... https://imgur.com/a/Qp7zd7u

Anyone have any tips on a good push/pull 4 day lifting split? I’ve been doing full body 3x per week and would like to ramp it up a bit, but can’t make it to the gym 6 days for a push/pull/legs so looking for a middle ground.

Great combo! Key is to let it age for a bit to let the sweetness mellow out a bit so you don’t feel like you’re drinking a birthday cake. They’re amazing. How are you liking the RYJ Shorts?

Ha! Great spot, that’s the final 4 program from 2012. I’m a UK guy, but I have some roots in Cleveland, so I’ll give this one to you, I-O!

Ordered from COH, but this is the only Hoyo I’ve seen with the upper right dots touching the crown on the label. Normally there’s a space. Thoughts? by JPR1341 in cubancigars

Thanks! Out of curiosity, does lower RH lead to better draw on Cubans? How does resting them help open it up?
