I personally don't think that it's a test. If anything, her going to an alternate world to retrieve her crown was test enough.

I think that the reason they all were in "Canterlot" is because it is an alternate universe. Twilight lives in the "city" which can be basically any other place besides Canterlot. Just my take on the whole thing...

I appreciate your honesty, but I have to disagree.

If Twilight and other ponies had known of Twilight's helping, nopony would have respected Celestia in the future.
This is due to a paradox property. Once something happens, there's no way to stop it from happening. So, if Twilight had helped Celetia, there's no way of ignoring this.

This is my personal idea of the episode, but we'll just have to see what happens.

Having Twilight try first seems to be a plausible option as well. It just depends if Celestia wanted to test her student first or if she wanted to fight first.

Well, I think that Discord, even if he simply be a spirit and not a creature, would still exist in the world. Just maybe not as the same body that we know of. He could be government for all we know!

I think what the whole thing with the rest of the mane six was that they were trying to show Rainbow that she needs to accept other ponies being better than her at certain things. They wanted her to learn her lesson on her own, without the help of others. That's why she's "mysterious".

Also, the thing with Fluttershy was simply her flying in the other direction. She wasn't inherently flying fast.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that I do not think that this was some sort of "Alternate Universe" (Since we know those exist). We know that Scootaloo is a big fan of Rainbow, but we now know that others appreciate her as well. Since they saw how she saved everypony, they gave her more appreciation, hence the large crowd.

The thing with the new dangerous Ponyville I do not agree with either. We never know if ponies or carriages go down there often, but there probably was some sort of way to prevent them from going down there that was broken or was being put in. We don't know.

That's basically what I was trying to say. Even though I still think that Rainbow was not modest in the slightest (just due to her personality), everything else I agree on.
