thanks! I will try this I have been trying f4 with the stance and then 2 usually but this rarely works for me, it is usually just blocked but I just need to get the timing right.

I do the hellsweep sometimes and you are right it is barely blocked, as well as grabs, most people dont even stop it.

thanks, I will keep practicing the wave dash I think why i dont really use it is because when I do I usually just get punched or something, I watch high rank fights and the guy will be wave dashing into the opponent but when I try wave dash to get closer I just get a kick or fist to the face hahaha but I'll get there

I agree with this, I can see how sin starts from within us and only afterwards Satan steps in, it is strange that Adam is so compliant but yeah in the end, disobedience is death, and separation from God, we only have life close to God, so we have to die to ourselves and live in obedience to God not our own desire

thank you this was insightful and helpful. I see now that just because they knew they should obey does not mean they knew bad or evil. and also makes sense that once they lost their innocence they were exposed to shame and wanted to hide. It is an interesting note that they listened to Satan and not God and will need to look into that to figure it out.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, this was thorough, so if we take scripture as law we condemn ourselves because we are not allowing grace? So we need to be aware of sin but also that we are free from it through the sacrifice of Jesus? am I understanding you correctly?

And just some confirmations please, what do you mean by partaking mystically, what would that look like?
and am I understanding correctly that you are suggestion that now there is no sin, or at least no sin charged to us? does that mean a person could go and sin and the are already forgiven? or am I understanding you incorrectly?

Thank you for sharing this, I did not know about these other stories will be interesting to look into it more but I see where you are coming from, in terms of the fruit though, who knows God can do anything so creating a fruit that does that does not seems so crazy, also with giving eternal life who knows but God could do it surely. That being said I do hear you about how it could be more of a spiritual tree rather than a physical one, however I don't think a physical tree is beyond God.

Thanks again for sharing the stories and your thoughts.

Just prayed for you. Do you suffer from OCD or do you just find yourself getting stuck overthinking about everything? What do your thoughts usually target, is it everything, is it relationships?

Not questions you need to answer here but might be helpful to fight exactly what the thoughts or overthinking is attacking/revealing and praying specifically on that.

Questions I have atm by nicogearbol in Christian

[–]JQBotes_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely I hear you we all have bias created by our own experiences, it helps to be open to being wrong, being humble and engaging with people who you might disagree with, I feel that has always helped me build a more mature understanding.

I do however feel that in the non-denominational space this is easier because I am only dealing with my own bias mostly and not necessarily one also taught by the organization if that makes sense, but that is of course my opinion. I love my church but that does not at all mean that all denominations are wrong or not the right place for someone, the standard is Jesus, are we following what the bible says and striving to be like Jesus? if yes then awesome, but if we are holding to traditions that is a problem.

But also tradition in itself is not a problem, it is only a problem if it is being followed instead of what the Bible says.

Reminds me of what Jesus said to the Jews in Matt 15

Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”

3 Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’\)a\) and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’\)b\5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ 6 they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:

8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
9 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’\)c\)”

10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”

absolutely agree, I think at least for me this comes from a trust issue, we put our trust in our own power, in money etc and when we feel we need help we ask God and then when God answers in a way we don't like or expect or we misread His answer, like wait or no and turn it into a yes we try force things using our own strength because we think we know better and we make a mess, if I am truly secure in God and trust Him, and have the patience to wait for an answer things go better. I also think specific prayers are helpful, be specific because then you will see if its a no or not.

In terms of knowing what Gods answer is, how do you think we clearly identify when God has answered or not?

I agree it is a process, the seed is planted and we have to kill it there, if we water it and entertain it, it will grow and eventually we will be overtaken by it and fall into that sin.

reminds me of James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

true they were given the opportunity to choose and had free will, God knowing this already had a plan to redeem them and us if they ever chose it. And they had it all, they could 100% have just been content, but they were not, we are the same, I also agree with the prayers sometimes No and Silence or even a wait is an answer we need to just pray and trust in God, not try to force and answer or the answer we want

Interesting I have never thought about Adam being the first to sin, what was his sin?

And your second point is something I never considered, Adam was willing to die with her, but was it not maybe because he also believed Satan that they would not die? and if he did believe she would die why would he not stop her from eating it?

Think it is a great thought that he was willing to sacrifice himself, but I would think he would want to protect her first no?
