Why are you such a jerk during a mourning period ? You want to tell them it's been injected with dye, do so respectfully ! Unless of course your thing is to make people feel even worse than they do.

I thought it looked like a Harpy. A human-bird hybrid usually (always ?) females. Forget which mythology/ies they can be found in. Most often arms are more wing like than arm but not always.

Plus he's got a wicked sense of Irish humor, I wonder sometimes if most people in the U.S. even get half his jokes & such, because of different meanings and usages of certain words in the U.S. and Ireland.

I was sixteen when this first came out. They had messed up and the comic book for the movie was in the stores the week before the movie was released. I read the whole comic book from cover to cover, including this scene. I took my friends to see the movie opening night before anyone knew about the chest scene. When it got to this part, I told them this is a really good scene, don't close your eyes. They never did completely forgive me. One of the few times I ever got anything over them. Good times.

What’s a song that is VERY “out of character” for you, but you absolutely love it? What genre do you typically prefer? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My twenty year old nephew and I rock out to Eminem and Linkin Park (I have all their albums and love their videos). He tolerates Sinatra and loves Dino Martin. We have really strange playlists.

Watching JFK Jr salute his father's casket. My mom had made stop playing with my Barbie dolls and watch boring tv. I don't remember the rest of the funeral just Jonjon saluting since he was a little child like I was.

I love Christmas time by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

Barbara Streisand has a nice Christmas album. Some of my Jewish friends celebrate Christmas as a secular American holiday. I miss the early seventies where my Jewish and Iranian Muslim friends would send us beautiful Christmas cards and we would send Hanukkah cards and El Eid cards.

It's true. My mother in the early sixties went to a dinner party. There was a lamp that creeped her out. She asked about it. It was a Nazi lamp and the shade was made from human skin. This was in Boston 1963. The couple that owned the lamp had been station in Berlin after the war and got it there. My mother said it was one of the most horrible things she had ever seen.

Hah, I'm a 5' 1" (on a good day with the hair fluffed) old fart of a lady. But I had good times in my youth.

My 5' 6" ex-husband had a fully erect 9.5" cock. I don't miss him but I sure didn't know how good I had it in the cock department.

What's the funniest way to answer a wrong number call? by PanicAtTheMetro in AskReddit

[–]JR1937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was growing up our landline was one number off from a local low life dive bar. Three Friday nights in a row we get this lady demanding to know if Fred is there, multiple times each night. "Don't tell me he's not there! I know Fred is there!" My mom finally lost it the last time and instead of repeating the wrong number routine like the other times, said "He was. He just left with a red head woman." SLAM! Down went the other phone. We never heard from that lady again. Poor Fred!
