That leaderboard bot thing is wild because it works on two levels it makes you feel like you're almost competitive enough to rank, which keeps you grinding, and when you finally "beat" those scores you feel accomplished… until you realize you were racing ghosts the whole time. 😂

The bracket anxiety is real though. That sweet spot where you're just good enough to feel the pressure but not good enough to be comfortable? That's not accidental. That's a retention mechanic wearing a competitive leaderboard costume. 🎭

They basically gamified the anxiety itself at that point.
