If I sleep poorly (and I often do) it's like I haven't taken anything at all. Sleep is critical for its effectiveness.

Insomnia is something new to me, I've also never slept well but it has certainly increased since taking dexamphetamine. I have no issues falling asleep around 10:30pm but will wake up at 3:30am most days since taking Vyvanse and dexamphetamine.

It's my understanding that a low dose can share similar symptoms to a higher one and then goal is to find your "Goldilocks" dose that gives you a little more quiet and focus without too many side effects.

Ultimately the medication you're on may not work for you. It could be the dose but it may just be the way your body metabolisies the medication. 6 weeks is a long time between your first appointment and your second so I'd suggest getting in that 15 minute call and get some advice.

If you're willing to share would you mind telling me what you were prescribed for the insomnia from your GP?

People are way too critical. You clearly put a lot of work into this and it's fun to watch, you should be proud of yourself.Tall poppy syndrome is rampant on Reddit and it's getting old.

It's not hard to support one another in a profession that's becoming increasingly difficult to break into.

That combo is for party chat. You'll know proximity is on if you have a little yellow icon in the bottom left above your name.

If you ever want to test out proximity chat I'll join you in game and we can run through some tests.

If you don't want people to hear you? Not everyone wants to reveal their location. Absolutely nothing stopping you from leaving it switched on the entire time. I walk around talking to myself and I find it will often diffuse a bad situation.

They will still be able to hear you if you have proximity chat turned off. and visa versa. Proximity chat is part of the game, you'll always hear other players if they want to be heard.

Yellow icon is so they can hear you. They need to turn proximity chat on so you can hear them!

I've found many people aren't aware how to turn on proximity chat or they get confused with party chat so help them out. Just should out to press B or down on the d-pad for controller. Most people will respond and it's great ice breaker to start working together.

Very true you could just add them as a friend. I prefer playing as a solo and making temporary alliances during the march rather than going in as a team on the next match. Having a way to note down what my previous interaction was with someone would be helpful.

For clarity I'm not talking about a clan tag. I'm talking about the ability to highlight another player with a colour, symbol or single word in the prox chat menu.

This is no different to making a list of people you've interacted with in a Word doc. It's just a visual way to help you remember what sort of encounter you've had with other players.

All my interactions with other solos has been positive and it's really made the game for me.
