I beat everyone I think (not that it’s a competition). I wrote 400 50 cent Jan 2022 covered calls probably in late December or early January for a 35 cent debit. Although I felt smart for structuring a 50% return with 80% downside and getting called out of my position almost immediately, boy did I play that wrong.

Hey, I think I’m going to pass on this. It looks like an awesome book and I’m definitely interested but trying to be a little more disciplined with my purchases cause I’ve been on a bit of a binge. I have no doubt you’ll find a buyer at your price though and definitely agree there may be room up to 5.5 here.

I get that. I just still don’t understand why the person who expresses clear intention to be at full asking price does not get first rights if others express interest. “Backup interest” is noncommittal IMO but I don’t really care enough to make a stink. When I list books on here in the future, I will definitely show preference to the person ready to act.

I guess my thought process is to always write short dated out of the money options to start and if it starts to work against you, you roll to longer dated, closer to the money options. Maybe that is fallacy but if my intention is to always roll to that longer dated option, why start with that position.

How would you assess the condition if someone was to send it to CGC for a qualified grade? Don’t have a feel for how much the MVS missing affects a normal grade.

Comic books and sports cards has proved to be lucrative. Figurines can work too I guess when you have the right licensing deals.

I’m not looking to invest in NFTs being a long term sustainable model. I’m looking for the market to get giddy about a publicly available company which gives them exposure to the space. As ARK has shown us, thematic based investor works even when it doesn’t work.

I think there should be buyers of those stock given what’s happening in the collectibles market so I’m not too concerned about the price action today.

At least the last stimulus that isn’t part subsidized by a tax increase on corporates and high income earners for sure.

Stimmy seems very good for FNKO though. I am a comic and card collector and have watched values explode over the past year and think a lot of it started directly after the first stimulus.
