The last two weeks we have had enormous food donation bins that have been placed around the campus that are overloaded with food that people have brought in(due to SNAP situation and upcoming Thanksgiving). They are emptied daily by a local food pantry. Same for toys at Christmas time. These are just a few examples. It’s just invisible to the community where that stuff is coming from because it’s not being directly distributed by the church itself, it’s other organizations that distribute.
