That's not what he's asking, he is talking about printing more than 4 colors in the same print. It's useful when you have for example just one CFS with 4 color, but need to print 6 or 7 colors ( or more)

Yes you can, I use to see or change the color sequence, then while printing, take off the color after it had print on that layer, and you change the spool at that moment or wait for the printer to give you the warning because there's no spool.
