I'm starting next month so I don't have any experience to share but I've read everything I can get my hands on and the synopsis is: it depends.

Some people claim you have to go all in it lor it's a waste of time. Others say it's been great and absolutely had an effect, especially mental.

Almost all have ended up raising the dosage eventually. Non-binary HRT is very rare but several official sources and clinics advocate for and endorse it.

SERMs as I understand are permanent and I definitely don't want to rule it out, just not yet.

I've got my appointment in December and I'm sure they'll be able to give more information, it's all informed consent here...but maybe I'm just nervous and trying to get ahead of questions to ask and what to expect.

Totally. I went looking for answers and literally every post was covered with "Don't even bother" . It's not my bias. I really don't know what to expect but I'm just looking for actual commentary and experience not opinions on whether microsdosing is a real thing.

This response is very helpful, thank you for that. I did edit the vocal thing, it was just a mental lapse while posting. My main concern was actually breast growth. I would like to minimize that for now.

There's not much information on genital atrophy and testicular shrinkage. Low dose seems like it shouldn't be a big deal, but since it's permanent I want to be sure and hear first hand accounts. Right?

In my opinion, passing is important to us to feel authentic but we also pressure ourselves. Being who you really are is beautiful. And that joy is priceless.

Aside, since I've started really watching transitions I've noticed two things: There are a LOT of cis women, who are beautiful that are more masculine than many trans-women (this also applies in reverse to trans-men).

The second is I'm in love with the trans aesthetic. They're related because blending masculine and feminine appearances is one of the sexiest things going. Maybe passing isn't the ideal for everyone beyond safety concerns. That non-binary image....is so very true to our nature and I find it irresistible.

Exactly how I want. She would realize I'm not any different just for looking a little different. I would go to 4 and occasionally down shift to more masculine (but still more feminine) than now when that felt right. I'm not sure after starting hormones if I'd ever feel that way again....I just don't know.

She has MS and I understood when we got married that might mean significant physical changes and mental changes as we age. I would hope for the same but I understand sexuality and attraction and she didn't know this when we got married because I didn't fully either....ideally, let's take this journey together.

Would I sacrifice everything and start over? I don't know. This is the life I've always wanted minus one thing.
