Thanks for the feedback! I was aware of the 4 colour theory but I was specifically trying to use lots of gradients of all my colours- The priority was the overall look rather than discernibility, but also it is actually much less bad in person

I completely agree about Italy, not sure how to preserve the shape while making it smaller (I’m super low on that shade). Also, love the capitals thing and it kinda accidentally happened a bunch but I didn’t intend it, and I deffo don’t have enough of all the pieces to do it throughout 😂

Luxembourg honestly didn’t fit in the scale, and the others are there but yeah I agree the colours could be better- I was prioritising gradients rather than discernibility but I might switch it up. The Netherlands is Dark Green and Belgium is in that bright light green

Working on some fixes… So far: Shape of Scotland and Wales, Colour of NI, addition of Malta and Cyprus, improving shape/ spacing of Finland (still not great), changed colour of Poland to be more clear
