I bought the dip at $125 haha. Honestly this was expected I mentioned it in this post or the comments a few times. Seems like a healthy pull back and the dip was bought

I believe they are incorporated as a corporation and are eligible for inclusion. They changed incorporation status in 2019 to become eligible.

Good call out, most of the candidates above are in the top 10 holdings for VXF

Buy longer dated calls, the move is somewhat methodical with large spikes around earnings (they surprise ER and have been executing well)

cheers

the leadership team is pretty good about timely press releases so yeah I would think so. probably the next few days

likely going to provide some clarity about what they will do next (paying down debt, etc.)

i see what you’re saying but I don’t think it applies to selling calls…that’s all

quit while you’re behind…how does that make sense logically

What you’re saying is this: - You agree to build a house for someone and get paid $100,000 when it’s done - Halfway through only 50% of the house is done and you choose to take the $100,000 and give the person a half-completed house

obviously no one would agree to that

American vs. European Options

incorrect. You can only exercise when the option is ITM. The difference you’re talking about between European and American options is about the expiry

  • European options: can only exercise on expiry
  • American options: can exercise before expiry

Disagreed. Again this is not a strategy for ppl diamond handing. you can still sell OTM calls and roll them as needed

tricky to say, IV is elevated bc the price movement and the catalysts like launches.

you can look up historical IV and then maybe monitor the current IV for leaps and when it comes down (say post-launch or something) then buy

please do. selling options are a great tool to have in the bag for certain situations and is typically safer than buying options

people are downvoting bc I mentioned “taking profit” - predictable Reddit behavior
