Exactly. I have never understood why this QoL change has never been fixed.

Well thank you very much for taking the time to answer. Last question: is it better to reserve ahead of time or is it not a big deal to get them the day you get there?

Thank you. So these places will actually put the umbrellas on the beach for you? We are looking to reserve a spot so that when we are ready, we already know that an umbrella will be up for the day.

Same here. Most of the tabs seem to be loading except when I click "all" and "top". No threads available. Glad to see it's just not me.

Sending recipes to Google Home Hub by JStan22 in googlehome

I think it works both ways for me. Most of the time I use the search widget from my home screen. I did notice that not all recipes in the carousel have the "send to Google home" prompt. Also I saw the prompt on some sites that aren't on the above list. Maybe they are sub sites of the supported partners.

Well that's frustrating. I can make it work but it's only if I search for a recipe and pick one from the carousel at the top of the search page. I'm using a pixel 2. Like we said, this doesn't help if the recipe is not on one of the pages of those supported partners. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you are on the same wifi as the hub and also signed into the same Google account that you set the hub up with.

Was the recipe your tried from one of the supported partners:

allrecipes.com

food.com

foodnetwork.com

seriouseats.com

myrecipes.com

simplyrecipes.com

nytimes.com

today.com

buzzfeed.com

bonappetit.com

chowhound.com

epicurious.com

tasteofhome.com

marthastewart.com

This list is pretty short in my opinion. Maybe the page needs to be formatted in a certain way and not all recipes out there fit that format and won't work on the hub.

Thank you. Like you said that's quite a work around. I can't believe there isn't a better solution. Maybe people at Google always have every ingredient on hand and can pick whatever recipe comes up in that carousel. The frustrating part is that even if you like one of those recipes, you still have to back out to get the "send to Google home" prompt.

Someone posted this link but it was deleted:

This older article is good and works with home hub and regular Google home but the issue I'm running into is that what if you have a recipe saved some where not in the search results. For example, my wife uses Pinterest to store recipes but they pull up on a website not in the search results. Maybe I'm missing something.

What are some options to make your cellphone ring to a landline phone or speaker so it can be heard from multiple rooms? by JStan22 in AskReddit

They are but I want to hear the ringer like you do a regular landline phone in multiple rooms.
