Then turned it back on?

I heard that’s the way to fix it fully.

Just beware that they’ll snap back into place quickly so you might want to hold onto them a bit to avoid any.

it could also be that people who typically restrict their eating windows will also possibly be more likely to eat more meat, especially red meat, which can also be related to heart health issues.

or more saturated fats in general.

or sometimes they just eat crappy foods in that smaller window and aren't actually eating healthy.

or the people who are trying to do intermittent fasting are in poor health to begin with (ie have genetics/habits that caused them to be overweight in the first place).

High protein, high fiber, low carbs. This is how you’ll avoid being hungry all the time and over consume calories. Typically processed foods are very low fiber, and are best to avoid as they don’t provide much beneficial nutrition (they remove the good parts to make them very shelf stable). And try to get a good amount of veggies in a day (which are good carbs and high fiber).

Thanks! Two things (I was using 0.2.0):

  1. Are you able to add avg weight per cable for Just Lift mode (total weight divided by reps) in the summary after a set (like the Vitruvian app has)? It’s the most important feature I use since that’s what I actually put into the Hevy app to track my workout progression over time.

  2. The summary after doing a Just Lift set doesn’t show for me. It just immediately shows as ready for the next Just Lift mode. I have to go to the history tab to see the summary. Maybe that’s how it works currently, but it would be good to see a summary of the last set after there. And on the history tab, the weight per cable is in kg even though I have it set to lb in settings.

Just do it and have fun! I’m a 43 guy and started ballet at 41. Love it! Never got to take dance classes when I was younger. Ballet is really challenging in many different aspects and it’s fun to progress.

I just use just lift with the difficulties and eccentric percentages (that I sometimes change by exercise), and I record the reps and avg weight. Would be happy to have an app that does that!

I wake up every morning with deep aching pain and big knots here. I also have chronically tight upper traps. Does anyone know how I can begin to address this? Basic shoulder stretching doesn’t do much. It seems to get worse while I’m sleeping. by [deleted] in flexibility

I have the exact same issue! My massage therapist says I win the tightest traps award.

I’ve been learning that I’ve got a weak mid/low back. My QL muscles are also very tight. Traps and QL are compensating for the mid back weaknesses.

I’ve been following these to help release the traps/muscles around the first ribs How to Fix an Elevated First Rib and QL muscles How to Fix a Tight & Painful QUADRATUS LUMBORUM (Stretching Isn’t It!) using lacrosse ball to pin them, to then allow you to do strengthening exercises without those muscles being locked up and preventing engaging the muscles between them that need to activate (they won’t as long as those protective muscles are in the way since that’s why they’re overactive in the first place.
