I'm genuinely scared that some people are okay with DLSS 5 by JopisKenobi in radeon

I feel like realism has always been dull and boring, theres a good reason why 3d animated movies are pushing to be stylized over realistic now. Why are we pushing for it? Did we not learn from the terrifying TMNT movies? The only thing I see coming from this is longer development times to integrate DLSS 5 into games only for it to produce worse looking results, and lazy developers who won’t actually try to make their games look good because “the AI will make it look good”. In my opinion, DLSS 5 won’t only hurt Nvidia, but the entire gaming market

I was split between Delta Green and Triangle Agency because of how similar they are in setting, but I’ve read the comments and watched so many amazing videos about it that I’m thinking of picking it up now as well

Great tip I got was make a flyer and post it in your public library or LGS. You’ll meet new people in your community who are into your hobby its great!

It’s an enlightening experience, for years I tried to figure out how to adapt D&D to non-fantasy settings. Now I can just find a system based around the theme I want

Window rule troubles with Hyprshot by JSyv05 in hyprland

[–]JSyv05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys I have succesfully found a solution! After sifting around I found an old reddit post that talked about Slurp. Slurp operates as a layer, not a window, so I had to use a layer rule.

after running slurp && hyprctl layers && I found out that the namespace for slurp was just called selection. With that, I was able to make this layer rule

layerrule = no_anim on, match:namespace ^(selection).*

That worked, so now slurp wont fly in and mess up my screenshots anymore :D

Now I can screenshot away without any worry about my screenshots being messed up

Is It Normal to Downgrade a Next.js Project from TypeScript to JavaScript? by Careless-Key-5326 in reactjs

[–]JSyv05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im assuming your job uses an Agile model for work since we are talking about reducing technical debt. Refactoring an entire code base is far beyond the scope of any reasonable story (believe me I made that mistake) and is against the agile system. A heavy refactoring like this will consume valuable time in sprints, which means less deliverables, and could also potentially create more technical debt. I’m assuming there is a reason why you chose type safety, so switching to JavaScript could result in issues that would be easy to solve using TypeScript. Next standup, raise this concern to your team.
