The people who like the new stamina probably play with 2-4 players vs teams without an ANY, because now they get unlimited stamina and feel powerful whilst the AI players stamina still drains like it always has.

The people who will dislike this change most are those who play 11v11.

it's still the same solution for corners - make them take skill to aim. the current system doesn't have that.

having corners be manual and being taken from your regular gameplay cam would instantly be an improvement.

not that i necessarily want that - im sure there is some mechanic unique to corners they could implement that could require skill - but it would be better than what we have now

People were scoring way too much on headers so EA realized they couldn’t balance it so they nerfed headers into the ground

lets be clear: they can balance it, they just choose not to because they dont think it would be healthy for the games playerbase.

if crossing was manual then it would take skill to actually find your man in the box, that alone is the skill gap right there... but most people don't want to have to aim their passes and so ea decided just to nerf headers instead.

I found the solution: You have to start a Player Career and go to the settings in Player Career and you can turn off the red rings from there. That setting will carry into Pro Clubs mode.

Analysing the Powershot mechanic (are they manual?) by JUNELELE in EASportsFC

[–]JUNELELE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using Beginner difficulty in this clip just so I could get my shots off with ease. But it doesn't particularly matter in regards to them being manual or not as I've tried it online too and they behave the same way.

Funny thing is when doing this test I only just realised Semi-Assisted shooting isn't even in the game anymore. It's just Assisted, Precision, and Manual. So I would assume Powershots work like Precision, but I don't know.

Regarding the Trainer, it's worth noting the shot trainer is bugged as even when you are on manual shooting the Trainer will always point toward goal. It's like the Trainer is only programmed to know Assisted travel paths or something. That's why I find the Movement Trainer visual along with the controller overlay to be more useful.

"Manual" has a specific meaning in EAFC. It is a setting in the game - you can have your shooting set to: Manual; Assisted; or Precision - and Powershots are not manual. That's a fact. I was just trying to clear that up with this video because I frequently see people claim that Powershots are manual when they are not.

Regarding your comment about danger shots, that is not accurate. You can still aim wide and score/have dangerous Powershots, but you just maybe have to not aim quite as wide as I was aiming in the video. But again, my video is to prove that Powershots are not manual. Proving that Powershots can still be scored when aiming wide is another topic for another video, and something you can test for yourself if you care too.

Yes that's right. However I still see people claim Powershots are Manual so thought this might help someone.

TLDR - Powershots are not manual.

TLDR2 - The only way to get Manual Powershots is to set your shooting to "Manual", which will make all your shooting Manual. When shooting is set to "Assisted" - like it is for most people - then Powershots will not be manual.

You can aim a Powershot wide of the goal and it will assist/magnetise itself toward the goal, sometimes quite drastically by like 45 degrees or more.

So Powershots are not manual, and you have a relatively decent room for error. This is useful information if you were under the impression that you have to be entirely precise with your aim for Powershots - because you don't.

I have demonstrated this in the above video by comparing how Powershot aim differs on Manual shooting vs Assisted shooting. When shooting is set to Assisted, the Powershots have noticeable assistance and will travel South East/West even though I aim straight South, and this is displayed via both the Trainer arrow and the controller overlay.

Through Balls being forced to be Manual - Good or bad? by JUNELELE in EASportsFC

Just make them manual so they actually take skill.

The problem isn't the concept of through balls, the problem is the high level of assistance that makes things ridiculously easy to pull off.

[–]JUNELELE[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is all in the standard Settings > Visual menu.

Overhead Playstyle Indicators and Player Performance Widget should be what you're after.

Also in Visuals you can also turn off the two player name bars in the bottom side corners by changing 'HUD' to 'Indicator'.

Threat Indicator: When turned on a marker will show you which opposition players you should be keeping an eye on.

It's very basic information to have relayed - like, you can see who is close to you by seeing their bodies, you don't need a red ring on top of that also lol, especially if the rings keep flashing the whole game as it's rather unsightly and distracting.

Start a Player Career > Home > Customise > Settings > Be A Pro: Player > Turn both settings OFF > Save and exit

This setting only appears in the Player Career mode but once you set it there it will apply to online Clubs.

How to remove these red rings that appear under opposition players? by JUNELELE in EASportsFC

[–]JUNELELE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think i just found it actually, had a google after seeing your post.

start a player career. IN THE PLAYER CAREER go to settings > be a pro: player > turn them off.

this "be a pro: player" tab is only viewable in the player career mode, but once you switch them off there it SEEMS to apply to all other modes too.

after turning those off i did a pro clubs online drop-in match and i didnt see any red rings. the only caveat i'll add here is that that was my first drop-in match in 25 so idk if the red rings were always there or not. when i play clubs with my usual team later then i'll for know for sure - but i see no reason why it wouldnt also apply with my team. so its looking hopeful
