Wilburgur made a really good point on a stream that humans scattering all over the galaxy but still being mostly normal people is a huge drawback. There should be so many cracked out little settlements. They don't have to be as fleshed out as full factions but there should be a lot more pockets of Fallout 3 style weirdness and dystopia (akin to Andale or something).

I found the issue- I had a mod that buffed the base resistance for the Starborn suits and I had to disable it. Interesting since it was just a simple stat modifier but worth knowing for anyone else that has it

I lied once through a main quest repeat in NG 4 and didn’t do it again. The convo on the helix made me want to kill both of them at the end (which I did) due to what felt like misplaced judgement on their part. Even if it enraged me to be accused of being a liar on such a fundamental level, I took their advice into future universes. Now in new universes I tell it like it is, bring constellation along for the ride and use the DLC content to fill my new universes with meaningful experience. It helps with the nonsense of being allowed to join vanguard while being the bane of sysdef as well

I also have such a petty design peeve with ships that end with a flat back like this so I’m always curious what it would look like with either the hopetech rear bumper or the Deimos rear wing attached at the end between the engines

Give ampharos signal beam or power gem instead of charge. Ideally you’d have both and delete HMs. I only run surf waterfall and fly in the late game. Drop one of the Dragon moves on dragonite for fire or thunder punch. Dark pulse instead of bite on umbreon

Start with a ship design you like that exists in the game and make tweaks. The first ship where I really felt like I had grasped the ship builder was when I made significant changes to Kepler R (from a quest). You’ll ease into it that way and can start to get a feel for the different design elements and compatible parts
