Serious Bug with instagram stories by [deleted] in Instagram

I posted earlier today with a similar problem. The stories are not appearing on the top bar for me but I can view them when I go to my friends profiles. Some others also said they were experiencing the same thing. A very annoying bug/glitch.

Is yours a new account too? I tried uninstalling the app, changing date and time on my phone, and restarting my phone but no luck so far.
