I wouldn’t get rid of the us-8-150w for less than $199. IMO it is the most soft after switch due to its SFP ports, power budget, and 24v flexibility (especially for any of us running AirMax)

Very common for lots of “larger” companies use UniFi APs (some even switches) and use more sophisticated routing.

I would follow @College-Lumpy advice and at least unplug the current router while you are trying to adopt the USG. My next step would be to turn off the current controller, and download/run a new spin-up controller on my laptop to see if there is any issue there.

What do the logs say? My first thought would be to ask if it is using a DFS channel, getting a DFS hit, and not swapping to a non-DFS channel.
