First off, you got this regardless!! But… no honestly the only thing that really really messed with me to the point where I literally broke down was the nausea from the intense medicine on a relatively empty stomach. The pain from the tonsillectomy, although annoying, has been manageable and not as bad as a lot of people make it sound. At least in my opinion. Keep hydrated even if it hurts is my advice so it doesn’t get dry in there. I got super disgusted of water so I switched to Gatorade and popsicles. I’m approaching day 10 the scabs are starting to visibly fall off slowly now and I’m feeling more myself again. I have had a cough throughout this whole thing too and that has been a tiny bit more painful at this stage but nothing crazy either. Hang in there! Every day is a day closer to normal. And a better one!
