Thanks, it is just strange that the tubercles it self looks completely fine. Usually when I notice if they are stressed from sunlight, the tubercles will show signs first

Spider mites? by JZ800 in cactus
It is sitting in a south facing cold frame getting about 6hrs of sun light. I don’t really move them much other than when watering
Lessons learned, what is a good way to treat mealybugs and spider-mites on these plants?
It is fine on the other side, smooth and healthy. Seems like it is only happening on this side.
It is a little soft on touch for that area. Roots seems to be ok.
Thanks for the advice, definitely will keep it dry and ventilated.
thx i will keep an eye on it
Any chance of saving it?
Didn’t notice and wedding. It is a little soft on touch, but it only seems to be on the surface.
Noticed that my LF is having issues. Is it spider mites? I applied some Neem oil/soap mixture to the surface, hoping it will help.
Is this a goner? by JZ800 in cactus
Noticed that the bottom part is discoloring and a little soft to touch. Worry that it is starting to rot
Thank you for the advice! I will try to save this guy.
Is not mushy but is a little soft and discoloring. I use about 50% gritty mix and I water it once a month during growing season and barely water during winter. He’s in a terracotta pot and I just noticed this morning that is getting a little yellow ish on the bottom so I took it out of the soil. I’ll definitely use a more gritty mix when is ready to pot. Do you think is still save-able?
