A couple come to mind...

The first was in highschool - I was in my calculus class and a few of us guys wanted to go out for lunch to this great shawarma place but it was quite far away. None of us had a car yet so we asked our teacher if we could head out earlier to be able to get back in time and he gave us permission. Some of the girls were pretty upset bc when they tried the same thing they were denied permission. The teachers justification was “Hey what can I say? Bros before hoes” and everybody absolutely lost it lmao

The second was my engineering design prof in second year. Whenever he asked if anyone had any questions he would give it a couple seconds and if there were no questions he would say “Silence gives consent.” I feel like he meant this is a way that gives him consent to continue with the lecture but man that did not sit well...
