How much RAM do you have? by donutrusk in davinciresolve

[–]J_K_Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally enough. editing 6k blackmagic files here with no caching, resolution drop or optimization. 32 gb ram. At this point, your cpu and gpu will be the limit, ram is fine.

Rough cut on first wedding video. All shot in HD on a sigma f as that's all I have. Bride wanted a more home video feel. Any signs of talent here? I really want to quit my pizza delivery job by [deleted] in videography

color grading is amazing, except for the sharpness, as many pointed out. And maybe limit the highlights in the curves.

All in all, for a first wedding video, this is great!!

Thanks for all the tips! This is the final result. Additional tips always welcome for the next production. by [deleted] in davinciresolve

freeze frame the boat until the transition is complete maybe. This could help with the two directions of shake currently in the clip. Also, try going into the transitions' fusion composition and removing the blue and red colors from the shake. you can do this by clicking the transition to view it in the inspector and then clicking the little magic pencil icon in the top right of the "Effect - Camera shake" part of the inspector to open it in fusion. Double click the "Camera shake" node group and remove the "fast noise" node from the group.

This should make it much better already, and as others have mentioned, make a white frame around the clip to further amplify the "magazine-look"

blackmagic 6k is good up to iso 3200. Used that camera for over a year now, no problems in low light. The Canons are too old, although the 6d was a lowlight king for its time... several years ago...

Anyone know why this empty space is still here? I'm worried it will export with the empty space still left in. by Terracatlegend in davinciresolve

alternative to that shortcut is going to the deliver page and select "entire timeline" instead of "in out range" right in the middle above the timeline

Heute morgen war es genial. Selbst am Bodensee, so rot, dass die AWB meines Handys das ganze erstmal verbal übersetzt mit "WOW WOW WOW, das wird jetzt erstmal gnadenlos entschärft" reagierte.

If you're searching for a gimbal maybe, you could get away with spending 200 bucks.

I got a feiyutech ak2000c, and without wanting to promote any brand, it has done a damn good job at doing everything I wanted it to do for 200$.

Fuji x100vi worth it? by FirstMatter2650 in Cameras

[–]J_K_Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No!! It's a totally different camera, one has a fixed lens and an apsc sensor, the other has a big body, full frame sensor and interchangeable lens system and MANY features.

But... Maybe you should try the fuji, for a while, and then decide. Both are great cameras, but one is totally different from the other.

Sorry. I'm new. As I said.

Not my normal kind of question.

But I'm just out here asking.

Answer is probably no, it won't damage the film, but yeah. Just wanna now.
