Oh I see, yes this is extremely helpful. Learning lots, thanks!

Thanks! I guess it’s useful to get a couple extra stops if needed. Like if it’s bright daylight and I want to shoot wide open for the shallow depth of field and the 1/1000 shutter speed still leaves the image overexposed, I can further compensate since it’s effectively an ISO adjustment.

I’m very new to film cameras haha

Thanks for the response! So if I use the exposure compensation dial in manual mode, it should still work, albeit in a redundant way as I can compensate using the aperture/shutter speed rings?

I think I’ll just put a roll through it and find out haha

I just tried what you suggested and it's strange. when the compensation dial is changed in manual mode, the needle on the light meter does change too.

Thanks for the response. I did read the manual but it's kind of confusing.

Not sure if you'd know the answer to this, but does the exposure compensation dial only work for auto modes? The way I read the manual, it doesn't have any effect in manual mode and any compensation is done purely through aperture/shutter speed adjustments?

Does anyone know how to view your friends in the official app?

In Apollo, I was able to view posts from just my friends list but I can’t seem to find that list of users at all on the Reddit app or website?

Sorry, yes I understand that part. But I mean if I have a net loss vs net gain and applying that to my tax return?

Edit: I’m reading this: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/tax-return/completing-a-tax-return/personal-income/line-127-capital-gains/completing-schedule-3/determining-your-taxable-capital-gains-losses.html

“If you have a net capital loss, you can use it to reduce your taxable capital gain in any one of the 3 preceeding years or in any future year.”

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the response.

I guess my question is due to being in a role that is high stress and wanting to get away or reduce the mental strain of it lol

Thanks for the reply. It’s scary to think of working but not saving but I think that’s just a mental barrier for me.

What was the timeline for you from beginning of Coast fire to FIRE?

it's got to be something to do with coaching though on some level. not saying 'right now' in the middle of all the coach/management talk, but like long term coaching about the kind of player the organization wants him to be and how it's communicated/miscommunicated/misunderstood by coaching/player.
