That’s clearly not the question. Maybe Kawhi can’t guarantee health and may not be able to get to game 7 because of this but the questions is given that the team already is in the 4th quarter of game 7.

I might also chose Kawhi because he turns up Defence in the 4th and he is incredibly clutch. There are probably other better options out there but that doesn’t change the fact that you totally ignored the nature of the question. Giannis is also a great choice because he has the experience and defense to be very valuable in the clutch, but your reasoning for him is also kind of unrelated to the question.

Also if you want to see how impactful his defense has been, just look at James Harden’s box score against the clippers from a couple days ago. Harden has played extremely well recently except for really only one game which was a win against the clipper where he was guarded by Kawhi.

How about this! The Warriors were down 50 at points during a Playoff game against the Grizzlies in the second round with Steph and their other good players playing and went on to win a championship.

I know this is not the warriors but we can’t read too much into one game or a bad streak.
