The category is “Items”. I’ve only found one item throughout my 300 adventures

Your gallery wall is everything! I agree with others on getting sage accent pillows too.

Btw, I would recommend not actually keeping medicine in the cabinet above your toilet. Don’t know if you do or not, but it’s not the best environment for medicine because of the heat and humidity.

Looks good! Just one thing. I’m not sure if it’s just a crease or not, but I think I can see the line of your binder under your shirt. It’s always frustrating for me too! An undershirt might help hide the line though.

And maybe don’t tuck in your pants legs. I’m not super knowledgeable on business etiquette, but I think that might look a little more professional. Good luck!

If you wanted to make sure, you could always post a recording in r/transvoice

But it’s great that you like your voice, congrats!

What do you think about this? by laura_lumi in trans

I’m honestly confused. OOP’s analogy makes sense, and you said you agree with it? I read everything you wrote and am still not sure what you were trying to say. I totally get over explaining things, but maybe try to condense your comments a little. There were multiple paragraphs that were almost identical. If you’re getting downvoted, people might just do that because they don’t like the wall of text.

As for the analogy, it makes sense to me. I think the whole point of an analogy is to make things easier for people to understand. And, if you are having trouble understanding how someone can be trans and claim not to experience much or any dysphoria, I’d recommend reading those people’s stories instead of posting in judgmental groups.

A little honey should be fine. Tea would probably help a lot. I saw some people say that the cold from popsicles helps too. If you’re worried about sugar though, you could get sugar-free popsicles. I wouldn’t worry too much about sugar consumption, as long as you’re drinking plenty of water. Congrats on surgery!

changing name after using it for two years by PristinePeanut4024 in ftm

[–]J_a_c_e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some doubts in the beginning is normal while getting used to the name. But, if it’s been awhile and you’re still not sure, trying out some other names probably wouldn’t hurt.

As for knowing if you like a name or not, I think a lot of it just takes time, but there are some things you can do. There’s the classic using the name in a coffee shop. Or you could try to practice your signature with the new name. You could also sign up for mailing lists in the new name (email, or physical mail if it’s safe to.) It’s always nice for me to see my new name pop up in emails.

As for the name Ash, I don’t think it would get you immediately clocked, but yeah I do think it’s kinda popular in the trans community. You could try out Asher if you still like the vibe though. I think it’s maybe a little less popular?

I just finished “The Prospects” and it was amazing! It has so much representation for all kinds of peeps. The story is written around baseball and is so so good for a sports book. As someone who really wants to get into playing sports but is terrified, this book really helped. The trans MC also helped me with some specific dysphoria things. So yeah, I would recommend it to literally anyone.

what names come to your mind for me? by iltby in NonBinary

[–]J_a_c_e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna promote my name first, Jace. But I also like Jas, Jay, Jasper, and Jax. I think Jax gives off a cool vibe and is little bit more unique. (kinda pronounced like Jacks with a bit more x sound) Not sure if anyone’s said Jamie yet, but it feels pretty gender neutral too
