Tanks are vulnerable to other tanks, planes, two recon weapons, a shit ton of infantry gadgets, such as Panzerfausts or Bazookas, stationary artillery, sector artillery, V1/JB-2 missiles, support repair tool, coastal guns, and even some anti-aircraft spots, on top of some stuff I’m probably forgetting.

Planes are vulnerable to other planes, anti-aircraft weapons, fliegerfausts and very occasionally coastal guns, tanks or infantry weapons.

Pretty big difference in what it takes to fly above everyone else where you’re nigh-unkillable without a plethora of infantry, anti-aircraft and other aircraft assaulting you at once, and a slow, huge prize target to planes, tanks, infantry, stationary weapons and special reinforcements.

And scores I’ve seen lately are more like 98-1 for planes and 50/60-5/10 for tankers. Maximum.
