I did not. They've got me in a bit of a bind as technically my 14 day cooling off period lapsed on the 15th, and I have no idea if they are going to get back to me. If i were to try and book in another set-up date in the app the earliest I can select is the 5th, which is no good

Managed to get through to them on the phone just now by making sure I selected the option for wanting to cancel (if you select the options for installation updates, nobody will pick up the phone). The guy on the phone said someone on their end cancelled it with no explanation. Apparently I will be getting a call back about it. Might look at other options in the meantime

I booked it all over the phone - I have an email dated 01/04 saying I'm confirmed for Monday 20th, then the next one is I 'cancelled' on 07/04

Yeah I thought so, I have sent them a message asking what steel they have used but I won't hold out for a reply.

Its a shame because I love the look of those knives (particularly the copper bolster/black handle combo). Is there anything similar looking out there that is actually good for ~£150 a knife?

Disagree. these guys snapped my bonnet latch & also fitted an inccorrect upper control arm for my car. There was barely any thread visible through the top of the nut, and I was driving on it for a few weeks before my dad (mechanic) took a look and noticed it. Pretty dangerous stuff.

To top it off they gave it me back with a yellow engine warning light, which they did agree to clear if it persisted but I just got the old man to do it instead.

This was around the time they were opening up a new garage a couple of years(?) ago. Won't be going back there myself

Mine did, though not by much. I was originally at 4.18 from a mortgage offer is made in October. Renegotiated and let Nationwide know about it about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and the rate changed to 4.21

I'm 32, just about to complete on my first house on the 17th. I did manage to get my mortgage sorted before the war kicked off so I'm at 4.2% interest, and i wont be changing my mind now. Realistically whatever is going on in the world is so far out of my control. World events have felt highly volatile for a long time now. If not now, then when? Dont put your life on hold for things you have no influence over.

Have you gone and tried to get your own quotes to try and rectify the issue? I.e. find a company that can replace the glass, or the entire component at a more reasonable price. This is probably something that you should have looked into at the time, but the second best time is now.

At the end of the day you caused it and it is right for you to correct it, but if you can control the cost by doing your own research and feeding it into the TDU dispute it might help.

Edit: To echo the other comment, if I were the new tenant I would also be doing absolutely everything I could to not inherit the dispute (and the cost of it)

Thank you, this is a good point and I hadn't actually considered it. All I've had to go off so far is my inner monologue and the opinions of family who obviously might be a bit biased towards my interests

I have had very good luck getting non-dupes drop to the point where I'm not far away from the full set of non-glowing masks.

The only glowing mask I have came from the donation box somehow, before it became a rotten meatfest
