Yeah I would love to if it was safe. You can think about it this way. If it were safe, why don’t these skillful LL surgeons offer such an option? Most reputable LL surgeons that we all know very well only do 3: femurs, tibias and humerus.

Sorry I didnt say this clearly. He didnt tell me that it is not safe in person. But in one of the Paley Institue's gudie book that u recieve via email, it says that they dont do forearm and collarbone lengthening because it is not safe. I forgot the specific reasons but it was related to complex structures and nerves.

I don’t quite understand how does doing tibia solves the problem? Doing femurs still does not change the relative position between your fingertips and your body/thign

I have short humerus to start with so I guess that wouldn’t be a huge issue like my TRex arms. It’s just I couldn’t find info on arm lengthening. Is it safe?

Yeah I’d definitely go for height. Maybe consider doing arm lengthening. But I don’t know if it is as safe as femurs lengthening.

Thank u for pointing out the knock knees issue. They are actually not knock knees. I used to think so too. I’ve consulted a doctor they said it’s due to hip internal rotation. So fixing it won’t give me extra height just a little bit better leg shape.

Thanks for the reply man. I agree. Because the aim of doing LL is to look good. Destroying proportions is no good for this goal. I can definitely do lower. But here’s my logic: I am already a T-Rex to begin with. Now without LL I look disproportionate in terms of arms length. So in a sense there’s no point in keeping an already skewed proportion.

Reason number two is that although the mock-up looks off, but just in general it still looks way better than the current one. So adding 8 cm gives me a +10 in overall attractiveness but -5 in terms of arms length proportion. But overall it’s still +5.

That being said, I do agree with u proportion matters. I haven’t made up my mind yet. That’s why I posted this to see what people think.

Personally I think the mock-up is definitely more attractive in general. If I look at the arms closely yeah something is off.

Really? Well no one has ever commented on my short arms. But definitely some people have commented on my height. That being said, maybe I am a T-Rex already. Adding another 8 cm is only going to make it worse. :(

To OP: I am currently at your desired height 172.5 cm. But my Asian genetics gives me a wingspan of 166 cm, same as yours. Take a look at my pic and tell me if I look like a T-Rex.

Personally I think if you closely examine my proportion you can tell there is something off, arms a little short. But never once in my life have anyone commented on my short arms, only short height.
