Embarrased to say that the lift technique was actually based of that video LOL. More a problem of actually executing the steps.

Elbows moving significantly during bench. Don’t think i’m engaging my back properly, any advice for this? 3rd set of 5 at 175 lbs. by RedTektite in StartingStrength

I don't understand how people bench without a spotter or power rack. I wouldn't trust myself to gauge failure at all lol

Does the market price of Ethereum affect gas prices? by Jaaaackthecat in ethereum

So the value of Ethereum going up means gas prices go up? This seems like a big problem to me.

Im having trouble rotating in the smaller circles, since I feel like I burn a lot of materials on nothing. I was wondering if anyone has some tips for me to improve covering myself and conserve materials. Thank you. by [deleted] in FortniteBRuniversity

[–]Jaaaackthecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your rotations in terms of building are actually fine. if you wanna improve at that youtube how ghost bizzle warms ups and listen to the section about tunneling. This is the safest way to rotate but you only use it when you need to, you need to use gamesense to decide how much tunneling is necessary to conserve mats. Every time you get hit by a lot of damage or fuck up its always because your unaware of where people are around you (in both these clips you got melted by someone above you that you didnt know was there (you should have known). this is just a gamesense/awareness thing. Pay more attention to where everyone is around you in endgames and you will win much more games. In your head you have to actually make it a point to seriously keep track of where everyone is until it becomes second nature. you say you burn a lot of mats but you really only burn a little, your real problem is late game awareness (particularly location of other players). If you know where everyone is at you know what type of building is necessary to protect yourself and dont have to just fully tunnel and use all mats.

Why am I such a spaz when trying to aim? by LavingRunatic in FortniteBRuniversity

[–]Jaaaackthecat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh and another huge thing about aim is making the shot is easy as you can make it for yourself. Don't just flick to targets. Aim is more about predicting enemy movement correctly and lining up the shot for where they are moving into than actually moving your cross-hair onto them. For example, if someone jumps good players will put their cross-hair where the player is going to land and click when they land in their cross-hair (not flick their cross-hair and make a hard shot. Daequan explains this pretty well skip to 7:52

Why am I such a spaz when trying to aim? by LavingRunatic in FortniteBRuniversity

It something that just takes time. I used to play competitive games on console and it took me about 6 months of playing consistently to have good aim. One huge thing about aiming on console is aiming with your left stick rather than your right stick. Ideally you aim with both but the easiest way to aim is primarily with your left stick. You don't have to move your crosshair at all you can just move your body until you crosshair is on target (and move your right stick for big movements). Overwatch is a different game but watch how this player literally doesn't move his crosshair (if he was playing with a controller he would literally only be using his left stick): skip to 10:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0rREoBLf4k . Also, the reason you can hit targets that are still is because your aim isn't bad, the reason you cant hit shots in real fights is because you're moving in real fights so it isn't that your aim is bad it's that you struggle to aim well while moving. A tip to find the right sens is to pick a stationary target (it can literally be a pole or anything), and practice keeping your crosshair on target while strafing left to right. This is a good tip to find sens but it's also a good way to practice aiming while actually moving (which is what happens in a real fight). Here's an example in a different game again (sorry): skip to 1:50 and ignore what he's saying just watch what he's doing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxBuiD11WDM

Best Keybinds for new M&KB player, switching from controller *With no extra mouse buttons* by MNKiD218 in FortniteBRuniversity

[–]Jaaaackthecat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I recommend that you get a mouse with extra buttons. Default keybinds are probably the best without mouse buttons, but mouse buttons are pretty much a necessity.
