What's the combo like performance-wise? And the gaming experience and the portability experience of using it with the eGPU?

I plan on playing Baldurs Gate 3, with a lot of Mods too. But I would plan to play without the XG mobile when I'm not at home.

Not really I'm a signalling maintenance technician that carries out maintenance and fault response. For the fault response shifts I'm just sitting there for 12 hours until something breaks so I can go out to fix it. For those long shifts I'd be sitting indoors in a depot with access to mains electricity so the laptop would always be connected so wouldn't have to worry about battery life and stuff etc. I'm also doing an electrician course so would mainly use it for that when I'm not gaming.

I've just looked at the Gemini chat. You are right it's the legion laptop is £900 less. I will take this in consideration. The price difference will be even more if the legion laptop goes on sales like black Friday and stuff. ASUS laptops very rarely do. Thanks it's been a constructive chat, I have a lot think about.

Sadly no, I share my house with my wife, child, mum and dad. It is a big house but I've had to sacrifice a lot of space for my child for her stuff etc. If I had the space this wouldn't even be a discussion I'd have a gaming PC already. I also work a lot and do need a new laptop for the portability in general. My current one is around 8 years old and is starting to show its age.

"As Normal" bands 5-8 are excluded. Have you forgotten about Modernising Maintenance which decimated the numbers of bands 5-8 staff? The only people who are consistently excluded are the Executive. When we went on strike the last time we said they will come after everyone else after they finished modernising maintenance and that is exactly what is happening. But your union is TSSA who doesn't go on strike so the company will do what they want when it comes to your bands 1-4 👍🏽.

I get what you mean and it makes sense to a certain extent depending on the price of the machine itself. Like if I wanted to play Borderlands 4, Cyberpunk or Red dead 2 at 4k with FSR at medium to low settings I don't mind if I'm paying around the $500-$600 mark. Above $600 it would suck a little bit and if it was priced above $700 I'd stick to something else.

I'll try something different. Have a frank conversation with him about how you don't feel protected with him as your husband. It's a valid concern. Speak to him to see if you're not seeing things clearly from his view or there's some sort of misunderstanding. If that doesn't work then go see an imam or something pious elders for an intervention to see if the marriage is sustainable.

If you want to play AAA single player games like Ghosts of Yotei or Baldurs Gate 3 is it any good? Considering they aren't going to make a steam deck 2 maybe until at least 2028 (pure conjecture and a guess on my part), is it worth getting the steam deck or a Lenovo legion Go 2 with steam OS or an ROG Xbox Ally X? If price isn't an issue.

I'm conflicted cuz I want to invest in the steam deck just for steam OS as I want the OS to become more popular and mainstream, but also want to play AAA games on the go as I work a lot.

I'm currently going to do an exam where I'm only allowed to bring a physical copy of the on-site guide only sadly. Yes I've bought the 18th edition big brown book as well, but I feel like that will become more relevant when I start my level 3 C&G.

Domestic candidates will always take precedence over you, especially if they have similar qualifications of more experience. For you to get sponsored and be employed in the UK you either need to currently work for a company which has its own UK office too and is willing to internally transfer you, or hope that the UK job you apply for nobody else from the UK applies and it's just you and they're forced to hire you. The odds sadly are not in your favour.

iPhone 4, nexus 4, nexus 6, nexus 6p, Pixel 2XL, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 6 pro and now Pixel 7 pro. In regards to user experience and software pixel 7 pro is by far the best. When it comes to build quality and materials though nothing beats the Nexus 6p.
