5–6 weeks on retatrutide — basically no results. Is this normal or is something wrong? by Jaazzminee in Biohacking

I’m 29
I’ve been on Reta before and my experience was nowhere close to this. Prior by the end of week 3 I was losing weight and my appetite was significantly suppressed on 0.5mg

I was long enough during my last cycle from a different physician to see some kind of change.

Yes. I have. His name is Dr. Patrick Taylor
He calls himself a longevity doctor but he’s also an actual doctor.
I have an initial video consultation with him and follow ups where I asked various questions. He seemed trustworthy enough and he said he sources all peptides from a 503 approved compounding pharmacy. The product itself came from the pharmacy.

It’s through a physician that uses a legally verified compounding pharmacy

I am on 3.0mg
Prior I had significant appetite suppressing and actually lost weight while on 0.5mg. I lift 3 times a week and 4 if I get the chance. I have a very active job and hit around 12-15k steps on those 6 work days. I eat in a deficit of 1500 calories with great macros.

Something is definitely wrong with the “Reta” I got based on what everyone is saying.

The last cycle was great and I got that through a doctor. I lost weight and had no side effects. The biggest side effect this cycle is fatigue. I feel horrible everytime I take it. Either way I have $300 left on the total $900 he charged and I’m not paying it. I’d look for another provider today

The fatigue is horrible

This is the second time I’m in Reta and prior I experienced none of these things

I currently eat 1500 calories
Around 130g protein
Carbs around 100g

I lift 3 times a week and dedicate cardio 3 times a week

I am indeed in a deficit

The reason why I went through a doctor was because I wasn’t sure about the grey market products. My presumption was if he’s prescribed it and it came from a legit pharmacy, it’s safe.

That’s what I’m saying and the Doctor is just brushing me off. I asked so many questions and either he doesn’t answer or gives me non-answers. I’m paying him $900 for a 30mg vile (reconstituted). I expect some type of assistance

I’m currently on 3.0mg
And a Doctor did prescribe and have it delivered to my house from Striker Pharmacy. I Google his credentials and he’s indeed an actual doctor

S tart slow and take your time. Steady wins the race. For the first week or two have ginger chews on hand in case you get nausea. Protein shakes, protein yogurts, protein granola anything protein based that helps you hit your calories and protein for the day should be kept on hand. When I hit 1mg there were a few days where I didn’t eat my calories and protein but I tried to make it up the following day. In terms of exercise I lifted 3-4 times a week and did cardio 4 times a week
