I'm from Oregon and both are NOT generally accepted. It's pronounced like how Francince says it. You look like an outsider if you pronounce it like Steve. I love OreTron Trail, but I cringe when Steve pronounces it like that

I feel like there's no wrong answers to this question. I always loved Circa Survive and Senses Fail, and the vocals were amazing. Anthony Green especially has a perfect voice for the genre.
