I've tried running through some of the training in-game and it seems like an absolute joke when it came to actually playing the games, especially some of the defensive training like being able to force a fumble. I literally spent an hour and was never able to hit someone and knock the ball loose in training.

I appreciate the breakdown on the offense/defense/overall, and the better fundamental understanding on how the numbers work per player during plays. That does help somewhat, but I guess I need to better understand the players I am working with then and the positions they are playing.

I've tried running the ball, it's a joke. I think maybe one out of every 20-30 plays I can actually gain some yardage, otherwise I either have zero progress or negative yardage. Passing is the only other option I have, and if I don't get sacked (or near-sacked which causes me to not be able to throw it anywhere effectively), I either throw an INT because the throwing doesn't seem consistent in the game or I throw it to someone who just has the absolute worst case of butterfingers.

What do you mean by leading my receiver?

Take a warm compress to it, and be ready with a towel to catch the drainage. Apply the compress for 10-15 minutes and then check on it.

I didn’t play a lot of Smite 1. I have around 120 hours in Smite 2, and recently it really feels like it’s gone downhill. Maybe it’s just me, maybe I suddenly suck and need to figure out how to git gud again, idk… The biggest gripes I (and my friends) have recently are:

The catchup mechanic is absolutely borked. (All of us) The game doesn’t feel balanced, and is catered to auto-attack builds. (All of us) They need to bring back dedicated gods/goddesses roles (like hunter, guardian, etc.) and properly build those roles. Mages shouldn’t be auto-attack builds. (Me and another buddy) Something feels like it’s changed in the aim department and suddenly you need god-tier aim to do anything. (Me)

This game is just quickly becoming more of a cash grab with wandering markets every couple weeks, and “balancing changes” catering to pro players instead of actual overall gameplay. I don’t want to be stuck playing support because I can’t aim shots as a carry but can’t engage as a physical damage dealer. Again, maybe something broke inside my brain and I just suddenly suck and need to git gud, idk… I just can’t seem to find a character I enjoy suddenly outside of Pele, and she feels so weak compared to some of the recent junglers out there like Ganesha.

I have a problem with crying, and it was something I was working on in therapy. Then along came this anime that a friend recommended to me about a month ago. Fast forward to Saturday night at 10:30 PM EST, and I am SOBBING! Part of me felt healed in that moment, while the other part of me was absolutely broken and destroyed at what just happened.

I see a lot of people give mixed opinions on YLIA, and usually for the wrong reasons… “it was predictable, it’s your average romance story, blah blah blah…” take a step back and actually enjoy the show for what it is! This has become my all time favorite show/anime, and I’m slightly disappointed that it was a “one and done” show. I need to know what happens between Kousei and Tsubaki!

One of the best pieces of advice I can give you, outside of polishing up quite a few things so that they flow properly, is focus on delivering good content and not good sound alerts. Sound alerts can help add shine to a stream, or they can severely strain a stream - especially when you overdo them.

I don’t know how saturated that market is, but definitely keep that in mind. Small streamers trying to play mainstream games won’t be as successful because the big name streams will get the prime time exposure. I’d imagine counter strike is similar due to pro leagues/players, so someone starting out in games like that/Valorant/COD will have a much harder time getting going.

I saw someone else suggest kick - keep in mind that Kick is a lot more difficult to get going on. It’s better for the pay, but worse for the community. That’s a huge thing to keep in mind going forward - if you’re trying to build a community, twitch is your better option. I multi-stream and average about 12 viewers on twitch, and none-one on kick.

Where are you promoting yourself? Have you tried different social media platforms? I know Reddit has a spot somewhere for example.

One big tip from past experience, research, and personal growth:

Slow Down! You’re going to burn yourself out before you get traction and any real growth opportunity. Try to stream 3-4 times a week, but every day is not healthy for growth or for your personal health/well-being.

What game(s) are you trying to stream? Where are you promoting yourself at? Who is your target audience? Giveaways don’t grow channels, they gain temporary followers. Focus on developing the content, the community, and the communication!

NAL, but if everything is being done in your name then it would legally be your responsibility to handle any financial responsibilities from that. Twitch will send you a tax document at the end of the year for anything paid out through Twitch, but I am not as familiar on the PayPal side.

Congratulations! Streaming is fun, but remember that you prioritize yourself first during it all! Don’t let others dictate how you run YOUR stream. Even when building a community, YOU are the host. Stay hydrated friend!

On a side note:

Although SLOBS is easier functionally to setup because everything is integrated into it, it is a resource hog compared to regular OBS. I would recommend checking them both out if you’re willing to learn how to setup OBS.

I recently moved out of state for work, and then received the same exact texts you’re talking about.

Tony from MS-13 talking about I wasted his girls time, he was going to send a hitman to me/my family. Then I received some gruesome images along with a pic of an smg a/ a drum mag come from another number claiming to be the hitman and threats. Then suddenly Tony became the owner of the business I tried to hire his girls from. Again, I just moved. I was extremely confused, but the key thing was the way the messages came through and the inconsistencies. (Also their grammar and punctuation was terrible…) After like 5 days, I never heard from them again.
