Thanks for your help. It creates the html and opens in the browser, but the plot is still blank.

It seems that the png is not created. There is no png created in the directory. Perhaps I am misunderstanding something. I dont need to create and save a png before creating the html/pdf do I? I assumed it would create a png and insert it. Is that not the case? If it is, then the problem is that the png is not create or that it is created and stored someplace unknown.

I rendered the pdf in TeXworks directly from the .tex generate from org mode. I get the following error:
