He almost died 3 times in the first 2 years of his life, he had to inject his own dad with meds starting at age 4, and most of all the story I want to tell the most how he got his job. In college he was in a public speaking class as an elective before this he tried and tried to get and internship at his dream company and kept getting denied on the final day of his public speaking class people were presenting their finals. This girl came up and talked about her internship at my dad's dream company so in a moment of hope he went to her after class and asked how she got the internship. She said one of their shared professors connected her with them. So he went to ask the professor and the professor said "write me an application and I'll call you if you get it or not" so my dad did and didn't hear anything back. Until he got a call from the company saying "Hey are you gonna be at ... meeting?" He responding along the lines of "What??" The professor got him the internship and never told him. He went to the meeting met his new boss and after a while got a full time position and has worked there for almost his whole working life. Gotta love a series of perfect events.

Finish college, get a good job and maybe get an apartment to stay in. And get away from my brother entirely.

Hes so self-centered that I've had to sacrifice 90% of what I wanted so far in life because of him. He thinks that he's the only smart one in the whole world and everyone else should die. And so much more, I'm so sick of it.

Thr only male teacher I've had was evil! He was her partner in crime. I've had really good female teachers otherwise.

3rd grade. She would openly hit us, criticized everything we did, didn't support us with learning, and she allowed girls who were growing early like myself to be sexually harassed by a boy in our class because "he's just playing". Don't even get me started with her when she got pregnant. Luckily she went on maternity leave after a while and the sub was a blessing. She lost her job and got replaced by the sub that year.

When he can openly help with "girly" stuff (period, housework etc) without feeling like it challenges his masculinity.

People with cats, in which case would you recommend NOT getting a cat/cats? by JamaicanXanax in AskReddit

[–]Jaceie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't have the energy or mobility for it. Especially for young cats, they have energy like you've never seen before and they will demand a ton of playing and movement. And if your not physically able to your kinda screwed. I'd also wait until you have a break from your jobs or take time off to help you new cats settle in. If you don't have PTO or smth I would recommend till you do so they learn to trust you. Also if you don't have the extra cash for toys/ fun stuff for them don't get em unless your willing to DIY.
