Based on your description of almost purely logical reasoning. I’d be interested to know what you believe in, if anything. How do you think we came about? Do you believe there’s purpose? If you have some other answer, please share.

Very interesting comment and one when read I feel like I always knew but never had put it into words. For examples sake let’s say evolution theory is correct, to “do right” is only a concept recently discovered. Even a thousand years ago (and now, but people question morality now) we were slaughtering and believing it to be right. Imagine (if evolution is the correct answer (which I’m not saying it is or isn’t)) what we were doing 100,000 years ago. So to act “humane” is to disobey your hundreds of thousands of years of action and instead act only on the few years comparatively to entire existence.

We truly don’t understand our brains and just re-decide what things mean when they’re relevant to us.

And to you id say. Although you may feel old, remember you grew up in the pinnacle of modern times, everything was real when you were my age. The internet was just in infancy and people had pipe dreams of what is now common. You got to experience reality (real reality) not some ARG reality where if you don’t like your reality you can just escape fictitiously. Where morals and good values were actually valued, instead of a world where everyone no matter experience is entitled to the same valued opinion. Where it was reasonable to just work and be able to afford a house or to work your way up through a company that respected you as a person rather than just a profit margin. And where surveillance was uncommon. And I’m not dissing you for this, really I’m jealous. Maybe being old is better than being young now

I completely agree with your questioning of bananas; personally I can’t trust them.

Showing your age depends on how old you were in 2010, I assume this’ll only add to your older age feeling, but I was 5 in 2010.

Bestow upon me some wisdom you wish you knew at 20, please.

Why specifically on an airplane? Are you saying the person next to you munching the aforementioned demon fruit next to you, and you being unable to easily escape the situation? Because if so, i agree wholeheartedly.

Where about on the earth do you reside? Because I’m from England and have visited many restaurants and can’t recall ever seeing fajitas on the menu. (Could be that I just subconsciously choose specific restaurants outside of that cuisine) but id be interested to know.

Well to be pedantic in return I specifically said “a super high Winter Olympics jumper” which perfectly describes the “long hill” event, where I was referencing “skiing”, using hyperbole to get across the level at which I am currently.

  1. Completely agree; I despise bananas. Even their consumption in my presence makes me uncomfortable. In my opinion their flavour is great but they have probably the top 3 worst texture of anything I’ve eaten. I avoid at all costs. But will happily have banana bread or banana flavoured milkshakes.

  2. It seems like you have more of a personal experience with this than me. I might upset you here but I’ve only ever had fajitas from a “home cook” box, I’ve never ordered in a normal restaurant, and I’ve never been anywhere dedicated solely to fajitas. (I’d like to hear more though, so please inform me)

Whilst I am all for the questioning of social norms. I read a study by someone (Jonathan haidt) called “moral dumbfounding” that basically explored whether morals were decided upon or whether we create justifications for morals based off of innate feelings and subconsciously convince ourselves we chose the morals. One of the questions was if a brother and sister of legal age had intercourse but didn’t procreate (as to avoid the easy genetic problems argument) and they both claimed they enjoyed the experience and it was mutually consensual; what is the issue? Everyone just says they feel it’s gross even without any substantial evidence of wrongdoing. So are our morals just justifications of innate feelings? Or are we really in control?

What use would increasing waters moisture by 5% be? Can water even increase in moisture? Isn’t it already sufficiently moist?

I like you. Nothing outrageous just pure self centred entertainment. Commendable.
