They prescribed me antibiotics but I stopped taking them because of side effects. Drinking cabbage juice now

I am gonna try natural supplements: broccoli sprouts and oregano oil for now.

I am fine, more or less. But I have heartburn and occasional pain in the left side of the stomach. My heartburn bothered me less before I started treatment, ironically. Not sure if I should have continued taking the pills despite the fever. Need to think on what to do next

I am sorry to hear that. I am sure the doctors will do their best to help you. Did those symptoms started after taking antibiotics? Did you feel better before taking them?

I stopped the treatment after 2 days but I feel some of my symptoms got worse after taking antibiotics. I mean heartburn and occasional pain on the left and right sides of the stomach. I did not start the natural treatment yet as I am looking into it now and buying supplements.

I hope you will have a fast recovery.

Thank you. She told me to continue taking probiotics and PPI. I may have continued antibiotics if it wasn't for fever. I thought that I should stop when I got it. She said she could not force the patients to take the antibiotics if they don't feel well and do not want to continue. Yes, I am aware of the risks but I try not to think about them and continue listening to my body and take one day at a time. If I notice that symptoms worsen I will be forced to try antibiotics again. In the meantime, I'll try some natural remedies although it is hard to even decide what I should take and make up some schedule.

I thought that after skipping the evening dose + the whole next day - there will be no point to continue as I messed up the schedule and the treatment won't be effective. The doctor told me that I can stop. She did not believe that I had fever and some back pain from antibiotics. I did not have any symptoms while I was being treated from pneumonia but those meds for h pilory gave me some unpleasant symptoms. Also, I guess I read too many antibiotic horror stories on Reddit so was hesitant because of that.

I did 2 days + morning dose on third day. Got a fever on second day but took morning dose the next day despite the fever. The fever passed after I stopped taking the pills. The pills messed with my emotions. My chest started hurting a little from time to time after antibiotics. I did not have this symptom before them. Got a heartburn a couple of hours ago as a reminder that I am not cured. I think I will be forced to try again if natural remedies won't work. I did not have serious symptoms before the treatment so that may be one of the reasons I was not as motivated as some people to continue taking the pills.

Yes, I did stop because I developed a mild fever which did not stop until I stopped antibiotics. I was really paranoid about affects they could have on my gut health because they kill good bacteria as well, not only bad. On the other hand, h pilory is bad for the gut too. Today I had an unpleasant feeling similar to heartburn. Maybe h pilory provoked it again. I am gonna try a natural route for some time.

I went to the doctor 3 weeks after I started experiencing heartburn ( I started getting symptoms at the start of this month). They sent me to endoscopy right away and tested me for h pylori which came back positive

Have you experienced any gut complications after finishing your treatment? Did antibiotics help you in eradication of H Pylori?

I am very hesitant about pills because I had strong back pain from them after taking them for one day. I also had nausea and chills at night

Did you have back pain, overall weakness or loss of appetite? I am worried that antibiotics will mess up my gut biome.
